Jeep Compass & Meridian Trail Editions Launched in India

Jeep Compass and Meridian Trail Editions launched in India at Rs 25.41 Lakh with bold design and exclusive ownership benefits.

Jeep launched Trail Editions of its best-selling Compass and Meridian SUVs in India. The new models feature distinctive design and customer advantages. The special cars are available for booking at Jeep dealerships nationwide.

Distinctive Design and Features

Compass Trail Edition has a dark color palette. All of its grille rings, side mirrors, roof rails, and rear accents Neutral Grey color. Even the Jeep and Compass badges are treated to this dark color. Trail Edition graphics on the hood and sides, and red accents on the front bumper provide high contrast. It also features Granite Metallic 18-inch wheels and a matte black grille on the outside.

Inside, Compass Trail Edition has black cloth seats with red stitching. Camouflage-patterned graphics and distinctive all-weather floor mats complete the serious look.

On the larger Meridian Trail Edition, there is a higher-end look. There is a glossy black top that stands in contrast to Neutral Grey and Piano Black trim on the body cladding, roof rails, fog lamp bezons, and taillight surround trim. Red accenting shows up on the nose and Trail Edition badging and decals support that it is actually an edition model. Red accenting and black vinyl trim go around themed skid plates and scuff plates inside.

It should be pointed out that the primary and engine specs of all these Trail Editions are identical to their standard counterparts.

Pricing and Ownership Benefits

There are Compass Trail Edition avatars and these are available in both manual and automatic variants . The latter has been priced at Rs 25.41 lakh whereas the former one at Rs 27.41 lakh. The Trail Edition of Meridian begins at Rs 31.27 lakh and goes up to Rs 35.27 lakh for the automatic. Once again, the same model of 4x4 automatic variant is offered at Rs 37.27 lakh. This also is an ex-showroom bandwagon.

Jeep has also launched a new ownership program known as 'Jeep Trust' with an improved customer buying experience. In Compass Trail Edition, the customers get a free three-year annual maintenance agreement, five-year extended warranty, and direct cash rebate of Rs 20,000. Meridian Trail Edition is offered with a three-year annual maintenance agreement as a standard feature.
