BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe Set to Launch in India Tomorrow - Key Info

BMW India launching the 2025 2 Series Gran Coupe tomorrow with bold design and new tech

BMW India will introduce the 2025 2 Series Gran Coupe on July 17, 2025. The launch will be at the company showroom in Mumbai. It will be the cheapest sedan of BMW in the nation to date. The new vehicle will be seeking young buyers who are seeking style, comfort, and good performance without digging a hole in their wallet.

Bold New Look That Stands Out

BMW has totally overhauled the 2 Series Gran Coupe for 2025. The front of the vehicle now features a sharp, aggressive appearance with thin LED headlights and a lower kidney grille with glow. The vehicle is not much bigger than the previous one, it's now 20 mm longer and 25 mm taller. Its 2,670 mm wheelbase remains the same. The low roofline coupe-like shape smoothly transitions to the rear, where there is a new angular LED taillight and a sporty bumper. There are four available colors, as in Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Brooklyn Grey, and Portimao Blue. The vehicle is equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels as standard but can be specified with 19-inch wheels.

Tech and Comfort

Inside, it is modern and driver-focused. There is one curved screen spanning a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.7-inch central touchscreen. BMW operates it on their new OS9 software. It features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and even AR navigation.

Seats are available in vegan leather that can be procured in Mocha or Oyster. The interior also receives six-color ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, front heated and massaging seats, a Harman Kardon sound system, and a wireless phone charger. Safety also receives top billing with eight airbags, a 360-degree camera, Level 2 driver assist, and auto-parking.

New Engine for Better Drive and Mileage

The 2025 Toyota Camry gets a new 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology. It churns out 156 horses and 230 Nm of twist. A tiny electric motor provides 20 additional horses for added punch. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 7.9 seconds. Power is delivered to the front wheels by a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. BMW claims it returns a fuel efficiency of 16.35 kmpl. Suspension is now fitted with stiffer springs and improved dampers, yet it still rolls smoothly and even over bumpy roads.

Price, Variants, and Bookings

BMW will offer the 2025 2 Series Gran Coupe in two trims: 218 M Sport and 218 M Sport Pro. The starting price will be Rs 46 lakh and the top variant will cost Rs 52 lakh (ex-showroom). Dealers have opened bookings for Rs 1.5 lakh. Deliveries will start in August 2025. The vehicle will be locally produced at BMW's Chennai plant so that the pricing is kept minimal.

What This Does to the Market

The 2025 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe provides a decent alternative to India's market for entry-level luxury sedans. It is a balance of style, amenities, and passion for driving. The new car provides customers with an easier entry point into the BMW brand without compromising luxury. With its clean-cut design, most advanced technology, and frugal engine, this vehicle can beat competitors such as the Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine. Its debut tomorrow will be in the news for prospective new buyers and car enthusiasts everywhere throughout the nation.
