Royal Enfield Sells 89,429 Bikes in May 2025 - Registered 82% Export Growth
Royal Enfield sold 89,429 bikes in May 2025, with strong 82% export growth. The brand also launched a new city bike and gear at the London Moto Show.
Royal Enfield sold a total of 89,429 motorcycles in May 2025. Of this, 75,820 units were sold in India, and 13,609 bikes were exported to other countries.
Looking at the complete domestic sales, 63,531 bikes were sold in May 2024, which is 19% lower than this time. In addition, there has been a significant increase in exports. While only 7,479 bikes were exported in May 2024, it went up to 13,609 in May 2025 — a growth of 82%.
In April and May, the company sold a total of 1,75,988 units. In the same period last year, only 1,52,880 bikes were sold. That's an increase of 15%. Domestic sales increased from 1,38,569 to 1,51,822, showing a growth of 10%. Exports also increased from 14,311 to 24,166.
Brand promotion and new projects
Royal Enfield has recently taken new initiatives to bolster its brand image. The registrations for the 21st Himalayan Odyssey have begun. The ride will begin on June 28. The 70 riders will cover a distance of 2,600 km. It will pass through Ladakh, Zanskar, Spiti, and Umling La (the highest road in the world).
Also, the company, in association with British jewellery brand "The Great Frog," has announced a limited edition collection that includes an exclusive bike, rings, and apparel. This includes a redesigned Super Meteor 650 and a handcrafted silver ring.
Bike Shed – new products at Moto Show
Royal Enfield has unveiled a new motorcycle at the Auto Expo in London. It is designed for those who ride in the city. This includes a CE-certified Phoenix leather jacket and an Urbanite hoodie made with both beauty and safety in mind.
