Mahindra’s Scorpio N now offers Level 2 ADAS and new Z8T trim - Variant Wise Prices Revealed

Mahindra & Mahindra has updated its Scorpio N in India. The new Z8T model is now available, with prices starting from Rs. 20.29 lakh (ex-showroom). This Z8T version fits between the Z8 and Z8L models. This new range comes as the SUV reaches three years on the Indian market. More than 2.5 lakh units have already been sold.

This update brings new features to the Scorpio N. One important addition is Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). This technology is now offered on the Z8L model. ADAS helps drivers with various tasks, making driving safer and easier. It is a significant step for the Scorpio N, adding modern safety and convenience to the popular SUV.

New Features in the Z8T Model

The new Z8T model comes with several new features. These include an auto-dimming inside rearview mirror, which helps reduce glare from headlights behind you. It also has ventilated front seats, which will keep you cool on hot days. A 12-speaker audio system from Sony is also part of the package, providing good sound quality. For easier parking, the Z8T has a front camera and front parking sensors. The driver’s seat can be adjusted in six different ways using power controls. Buyers will also get an electronic parking brake and 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)

The Level 2 ADAS suite includes many features designed to help the driver. It has adaptive cruise control, which can adjust the car’s speed to keep a safe distance from the vehicle ahead, even in stop-and-go traffic. Lane keep assist helps the car stay in its lane. Smart pilot assist helps with driving in certain situations. Other features include forward collision warning, which alerts the driver to potential crashes, and automatic emergency braking, which can apply the brakes if needed. Traffic sign recognition helps the driver know speed limits, and high beam assist automatically controls the headlights. Lane departure warning alerts the driver if the car drifts out of its lane. The ADAS system also adds two new features for a Mahindra car with an internal combustion engine: Speed Limit Assist and Front Vehicle Start Alert.

Speed Limit Assist warns drivers about posted speed limits and can adjust cruise control speeds to match. Front Vehicle Start Alert gives visual, vibration, and sound signals when the car in front starts to move. This is very helpful in heavy traffic where cars stop and go often.
