The Harrier.EV, Another big electric SUV is coming from Tata Motors. It is set to be launched on June 3 and marks Tata's first step into the premium electric SUV segment.

Ahead of the launch, Tata has released a teaser. In the video, the car appears to be extremely powerful. This SUV delivers 500 Nm of torque and 369 bhp of power. It features a dual motor setup and AWD (all-wheel drive) technology, meaning all four wheels rotate simultaneously.

What’s in the teaser?

The teaser opens with geographic coordinates – 9°39'58.1"N, 76°54'12.2"E – displayed on the screen, along with an altitude of 3937 feet. Next, we see professional driver Dr. Mohammed Fahed preparing to drive the SUV up a mountain.

It is revealed that this location is in the Vagamon region of Kerala, and the mountain could possibly be Kurisumala.

Technology & Performance

The Harrier.EV is built on Tata’s newly developed Gen 2 Acti.EV platform. Key features include:

  • Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging

  • Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) charging

  • Multi-link rear suspension

This electric SUV comes with a 60–75 kWh battery pack. It can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in under 6 seconds, and its range is expected to be over 500 km.
