Amazfit Launches Helio Strap Pro For HYROX And Hybrid Athletes
Amazfit Introduces Advanced Tracking For HYROX And Hybrid Athletes
Amazfit has introduced a new fitness tracking system called the Helio Strap Pro. Designed mainly for HYROX competitors and hybrid athletes, the new wearable aims to provide deeper insights into training performance, movement quality and recovery.
Unlike traditional fitness trackers that mainly focus on heart rate, the Helio Strap Pro combines multiple sensors to give users a more detailed understanding of how their bodies perform during intense workouts.
A New Approach to Performance Tracking
The Helio Strap Pro builds on Amazfit's existing Helio Strap but adds a new waist-mounted motion sensor. This additional sensor works alongside an upper-arm heart-rate monitor and compatible Amazfit smartwatches.
By collecting data from different parts of the body, the system can track not only heart rate but also movement patterns, stability, muscle load and workout efficiency.
According to Amazfit, this helps athletes understand how their performance changes as fatigue builds during training sessions.
Built for HYROX and Hybrid Training
The Helio Strap Pro has been developed to work with HYROX Race and HYROX Simulation modes available on the Amazfit Balance 3 and Balance Ultra smartwatches.
The system includes:
- Helio Core Motion HR – Worn on the upper arm to provide more stable heart-rate readings during intense workouts.
- Helio Core Motion Waist – Worn around the waist to track body movement, posture and stability.
- Amazfit Smartwatch – Used to record workout performance and training data.
Together, these devices create a complete view of an athlete's workout performance.
Detailed Workout Analysis
After a workout, all data is collected and displayed in the Zepp App and users can review performance across different HYROX stations, including:
- SkiErg
- Sled Push
- Sled Pull
- Burpee Broad Jump
- Rowing
- Farmer's Carry
- Sandbag Lunges
- Wall Balls
The system is designed to show how movement, effort and muscle load change throughout each stage of a workout.
Focus on Training and Recovery
Amazfit says the Helio Strap Pro is not only designed for training but also for recovery tracking.
The Zepp App combines workout information with recovery data, sleep tracking, daily activity and training load. This allows users to monitor their overall fitness and readiness levels from a single platform.
The company's HybridCharge Energy Intelligence system also helps users understand how exercise, recovery, stress and daily activities affect performance over time.
Designed for Everyday Use
Since the Helio Strap Pro does not require a screen, users can continue tracking their activity even when they are not wearing a smartwatch.
The device can work alongside compatible Amazfit watches and can also share heart-rate data with third-party sports watches, fitness equipment and training apps through Bluetooth connectivity. Health data can also be synced with Apple Health using the Zepp App.
