VinFast VF6 & VF7 EVs Showcased Across 11 Indian Cities
VinFast brings its EVs to malls across India, letting consumers explore the VF6 & VF7 before their official debut in the country.
The Vietnamese manufacturer VinFast is aggressively unveiling its electric cars, the VF6 and VF7, to the Indian audience. These two electric models are currently on an extensive roadshow after first showing at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi. Directly to potential consumers in many cities across the nation, this project enables a first-hand experience with VinFast's electric products.
Broad multi-city roadshow
Eleven cities, chosen for their prominence and possible consumer involvement, are covered on the roadshow. Key locations are several Lulu Malls located in Kochi, Lucknow, Bengaluru, and Trivandrum as well as major shopping complexes like Select City Walk and Pacific Mall in Delhi, Ambience Mall in Gurugram. Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Vijayawada, Chennai, and Pune are all included in the display. VinFast's aim is to engage potential customers before the official market introduction of these electric vehicles.
At every one of these stops, guests get a chance to thoroughly inspect the SUVs. This helps them to grasp the design approach VinFast hopes to introduce in the Indian electric car industry. The VF6 and VF7 both provide different stylistic directions. While its counterpart, the VF7, has a more angular look that the business calls as "Asymmetric Aerospace," the VF6 embodies a design concept known as "Dualities in Nature."
Key Features and Specifications
Model VF6 and VF7 have a number of modern features. These include panoramic glass roofs, large central display screens, fullwidth LED signatures, and a complete suite of sophisticated driver support technologies. VinFast is also establishing its presence in India by constructing a manufacturing base in Tamil Nadu in addition to highlighting these cars. Also through strategic alliances, like its partnership with Global Assure, the firm is building a service network.
Local manufacturing plant's production operations are planned to start in the next few weeks. Capable of generating 204 horsepower and 310 Newtonmeters of torque, the VF6 will run on a single electric motor and a 59.6 kWh battery pack. With a WLTP (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure) range of 480 kilometers, this model accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 8.89 seconds. On the other hand, the VF7 has a bigger 75.3 kWh battery unit, therefore offering a theoretical range of up to 450 kilometers.
Commenting on the roadshow, Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia said, "Following the enthusiastic welcome at the Bharat Mobility Expo, we are eager to bring the VF7 and VF6 closer to Indian customers. Showing them in major shopping centers gives a great chance for consumers and EV fans to directly experience our electric SUVs and see VinFast's leadership in promoting sustainable mobility in India.
