After sharing a starting price earlier, the RWD models will be offered at an introductory price range of Rs 21.49 lakh to Rs 27.49 lakh (ex-showroom). If you’re interested in buying one, mark your calendars for July 2, 2025, when official bookings kick off.
Keep in mind that these prices don't include the optional AC fast charger or installation. There’s also exciting news about the dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) version. Its technical details are out, and the official pricing will be announced on June 27, 2025. These more powerful variants are expected to deliver a total output of 396 PS, with 158 PS at the front and 238 PS at the rear, along with a hefty 504 Nm of torque. Tata claims that the AWD Harrier EV will go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds, making it one of the fastest in its class.
Going Off the Beaten Path
Besides its power, the Tata Harrier EV is built for off-road fun. It comes with six different terrain modes to handle a variety of surfaces. Plus, it has a 540-degree surround-view camera to help you see everything around the car, including what’s right underneath it. Tata believes these features will give the Harrier EV real all-terrain capability.
Inside, the Harrier EV has made big improvements in comfort and tech. It features a segment-first 14.53-inch touchscreen, designed with Harman and using Samsung Neo QLED tech—a first in the automotive world. The sound system is impressive too, with a 10-speaker JBL setup that includes Dolby Atmos. For a smooth ride, it’s equipped with an Ultra Glide Suspension system that balances comfort and control.
There are also plenty of driver-assist features, like e-Valet auto park assist, a digital key called Digi Access, and Tata’s DrivePay interface for easy in-car payments. All these tech upgrades aim to make your driving experience better.
Battery Options and Charging Efficiency
The Tata Harrier EV will have different battery options depending on the variant. The top model will include a 75 kWh battery, offering an ARAI-certified range of 627 km in combined conditions. In real-world driving, you can expect a range between 480 to 505 km. The Harrier EV also supports fast charging, allowing you to get a 250 km range boost in just 15 minutes, given the right conditions.
Tata is backing these electric vehicles with a lifetime battery warranty for the first private owner, showing their confidence in the durability of the EV's components. With more variant details and dual-motor pricing expecting to come soon, the Tata Harrier EV is shaping up to be a strong competitor in India's electric vehicle market.
