Nissan Magnite SUV Offers Up to Rs 86,000

Nissan Magnite now offers a certified CNG kit with 3-year warranty, fuel savings, and ₹86,000 benefits. Check out the new pricing now!

Nissan Motor India is currently providing benefits of up to Rs 86,000 on its Magnite SUV. This comes as the compact SUV has reached a milestone of 2 lakh sales in the country. Customers can find out more about these offers by visiting their nearest Nissan dealership. The Magnite is one of the few models Nissan sells in India, alongside the X-Trail.

Pricing and CNG Option

The Nissan Magnite starts at an ex-showroom price of Rs 6.14 lakh and goes up to Rs 10.54 lakh. For those looking for a more fuel-efficient option, a retrofit-CNG version is available. This CNG kit can be added to a Magnite model for Rs 75,000. This means the CNG version of the vehicle begins at an ex-showroom price of Rs 6.89 lakh.

Currently, only the Nissan Magnite with the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a manual transmission offers the CNG kit. The turbo models do not have a CNG option at this time. Reports suggest that the CNG kit could deliver around 24 km per kg in city driving and 30 km per kg on highways. The cost of the CNG kit includes a fire extinguisher, a third-party warranty, registration certificate endorsement, and installation fees.

CNG Kit Certification and Warranty

The CNG kit for the Nissan Magnite is officially certified by the government. Nissan, in partnership with Motozen, will provide a warranty of 3 years or 1 lakh kilometers for the Nissan CNG. The official fuel efficiency numbers for the Nissan Magnite CNG will be announced in the coming weeks.

Analysis

Nissan’s sales landmark with the Magnite as well as the recent offers on the SUV reiterate its significance in the compact SUV space. Giving a maximum benefit of Rs 86,000, it is a more attractive choice for the buyers. A CNG variant is also available, which increases its appeal to those looking for a product with lower running costs. Though the petrol manual variants are few, the anticipated fuel efficiency of this option is something to be noted. Rather than trying to get out of the very competitive Indian market, this enables Nissan to stay in the Indian market, provide value to Indian consumers and give options in terms of fuel, driving preference etc. The Magnite remains an important product for the brand.
