Mahindra Scorpio N to Get Level 2 ADAS, Panoramic Sunroof & More

Mahindra Scorpio N to receive Level 2 ADAS, panoramic sunroof, new screen & safety upgrades by Diwali 2025.

Mahindra & Mahindra, a big car maker, will bring out many new models in the next year. This includes a new Bolero, an updated XUV 7OO, a new Thar, and electric SUVs. Also, the company will add some new features to the Scorpio N later this year, around the Diwali festival. These new features will make the Scorpio N even better. It will also get more advanced safety systems. While the car might look a bit different, these changes will be small.

Advanced Safety: Level 2 ADAS

The biggest new feature for the Scorpio N will be Level 2 ADAS. ADAS stands for Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems. This system will have many helpful parts. These include Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), which helps stop the car if it senses a crash. It will also have Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist (which helps the car stay in its lane), High Beam Assist, and Lane Departure Warning. Some higher versions of the Scorpio N might also get a 360-degree camera, which shows a full view around the car.

A Bigger Sunroof and More Comfort

Another important new feature could be a panoramic sunroof. Right now, the Scorpio N has a smaller sunroof in its top models. A panoramic sunroof is much larger and lets in more light, making the inside feel bigger. Adding this could make the Scorpio N more appealing compared to other SUVs. Mahindra might also add ventilated seats for the back passengers in the 6-seater version, which would make long trips more comfortable.

Mahindra could also put a bigger screen in the car for entertainment. This new screen might be 10.1 inches big and work with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. While it seems very likely that the Scorpio N will get Level 2 ADAS with AEB, it is not fully confirmed if all the other features mentioned will be included.

Engine Stays the Same

The engines in the Scorpio N will not change. It will still use the same 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine and the 2.2-liter turbo diesel engine. Buyers will still have a choice of a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The four-wheel-drive system will still be an option for the top models.

 Insights and Analysis

The Mahindra Scorpio N is already a popular SUV. Adding Level 2 ADAS and a panoramic sunroof shows that Mahindra wants to keep it competitive. Many new cars, especially SUVs, are now offering these advanced features. Customers are looking for cars that are not only strong and capable but also safe and comfortable. The addition of ADAS is especially important because it helps the car meet international safety rules. For example, countries like Australia and New Zealand require AEB as a standard feature for the Scorpio N to be sold there. This means that the Scorpio N models made in India for export already have these safety systems. Bringing them to India will make the local version just as safe. A panoramic sunroof is a luxury feature that many buyers want. It makes the car feel more premium. By adding these features, Mahindra is making the Scorpio N more attractive to a wider range of buyers. This will help the Scorpio N stay a strong choice in the busy SUV market in India. It shows Mahindra is listening to what customers want and is ready to update its cars to stay ahead.
