 TVS is gearing up to launch an updated Jupiter scooter in the 125cc segment

TVS Motor Company is gearing up to launch a new version of its popular Jupiter scooter range for Indian customers. Hinting at the upcoming changes and additions, the company recently shared preview images on various social media channels.

According to information provided by TVS, the new model will be a part of the 125cc segment and is designed to offer better performance and a better riding experience. The updated scooter is expected to maintain several design elements from the current Jupiter 110 model, such as the recognizable front design and general body structure.

As for its looks, buyers can expect an improved headlight design, with slim daytime running lights placed under the main light and in-built direction indicators. TVS is said to be implementing its "Zyada ka Faida" (more benefits) approach to attract a wider range of customers, which will help the Jupiter 125 become more competitive among similar scooters.

Expected features

The new scooter will feature modern technology, improved capabilities and a stronger build compared to the Jupiter 110. It will house a TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. The display will show important riding details including speed, fuel efficiency, riding options and additional information.

Engine and performance

From a technical perspective, no major changes are expected. The Jupiter 125 will continue to use the same 125cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 8.44 horsepower and 11.1 Newton metres of peak torque. This engine will be connected to a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
