New Hero Adventure Bike Spotted in Testing – Is Xpulse 160 Coming Soon?

Adventure bikes are becoming more popular in the 2-wheeler market. They are built for comfort on rough roads and are great for long-distance touring. Because of this, many riders are choosing adventure bikes over regular motorcycles. Every major bike brand is now developing its own adventure models to meet the growing demand.

Hero’s New Adventure Bike Spotted in Spy Shots

Recently, spy photos of a new Hero adventure bike being tested have surfaced online. The bike looks similar to the Hero Xpulse 200. Though the images are not very clear, this could either be an updated version of the Xpulse 200 4V or a completely new model – possibly the Xpulse 160.

Fresh Design and New Features

The test bike shows several design changes. It features a redesigned tail light and a larger rear rack, likely for carrying luggage. The fuel tank looks sportier, similar to what we see on the Xpulse 210. However, since the engine is fully covered, it’s hard to say whether it’s powered by the Xtreme 160R engine or the Xpulse 200 4V engine.

Is the Xpulse 160 Launching Soon?

Hero might be planning to launch a more affordable adventure bike for the Indian market. It is rumored that a new model, possibly called the Xpulse 160, could be introduced soon. Currently, there is no strong adventure bike available under ₹1.5 lakh, and this could be Hero’s move to capture the budget ADV segment. The Xpulse 160 may come with a 163.2cc engine tuned for off-road and touring performance.
