Hero’s Vida VX2 Scooter: Planning To Launch On July 1

Hero Vida VX2 Plus: Introduction and Launch
Hero Vida was first showcased at EICMA late last year and then at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in January. A few weeks ago, we spotted the Vida Z scooter being tested. The latest leaked images show the scooter with a new name, VX2 Plus.
Design and Features
Compared to the Vida Z prototype, the new scooter doesn't have any major changes. It comes in a terracotta yellow color, has an LED headlamp, LED tail lamp, and sharp LED turn signals. It also gets 12-inch alloy wheels, a front disc brake, twin rear shocks, and a telescopic front forks. These are shared with the Vida V2.
Leaked Photos and Details
The leaked photos of the scooter at the Vida dealership clearly show the digital instrument cluster, front storage space, grey trim and SOS switch. Also, the scooter is started with a regular key, there is no keyless ignition. The VX2 Plus has some minor changes compared to the Vida V2. New tail lamps, a revamped front apron. The scooter looks even more beautiful with a single-tone body color. A new one-piece grab rail and a single-piece seat are also available.
Dashboard and Pricing
The VX2 Plus has a smaller digital dashboard compared to the Vida V2. It may lack some features but is expected to be priced lower. The Vida V2 has a 2.2 kWh battery, which has a range of 94 km. The VX2 Plus can go up to 143 km with a 3.44 kWh battery.
Battery Options and Performance
The VX2 Pro model can go up to 165 km with a 3.94 kWh battery. Performance is also better - the Vida V2 Lite model can reach a top speed of 69 kmph, the Plus model 85 kmph, and the Pro model 90 kmph, and can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in just 2.9 seconds.
