The crash test results for the Tata Altroz facelift are expected soon, with predictions pointing to even higher safety ratings than before.

Crash Test Video Reveals Key Details

Tata Motors’ latest Altroz hatchback is likely to get a 5-star rating in the Bharat NCAP crash test. While the official scores are yet to be revealed, Tata has shared a lot of information in the crash test video on its YouTube channel. The video shows the Altroz being hit head-on at 64 km/h.

Impact Analysis and Camera Angles

The video shows the car being tested from three sides, front, left, and right  through cameras. After the impact, the left side was shown at 135 milliseconds and the right side at 187 milliseconds. The test reports show that the A-pillar is strong and the bottom of the car is not damaged.

Diamond Safety Shield for Enhanced Protection

The Altroz has a special structure called Diamond Safety Shield. This helps protect the passengers in the event of an accident. Tata has made the body of high-strength steel with precision welding technology. This design is useful for diverting frontal impacts away from the passengers.
