Yezdi Launches 2025 Roadster in India with New Engine and Features

Yezdi has launched the 2025 Roadster in India with a starting price of Rs 2.10 lakh (ex-showroom). This new model brings updates to design, performance, and customization, aiming to attract both new riders and classic motorcycle enthusiasts.

The 2025 Roadster retains its retro styling with key features such as a round LED headlamp, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, split seat, and curved mudguards. Yezdi has introduced new color options including Sharkskin Blue, Smoke Grey, Bloodrush Maroon, Savage Green, and Shadow Black. A redesigned rear fender and new insignia on the fuel tank enhance the bike’s classic appeal. The updated model also includes hydroformed handlebars and factory-fitted touring visors for better long-distance comfort.

A major upgrade comes with the new 334cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled Alpha2 engine. It produces 28.6 bhp and 30 Nm of torque and is paired with a six-speed gearbox. The engine includes an assist-and-slipper clutch that improves shifting smoothness and adds control during deceleration. Suspension has been updated with a telescopic front fork and retuned dual rear shocks for better stability and comfort on Indian roads.

Braking is managed by dual disc brakes—320mm at the front and 240mm at the rear—along with dual-channel ABS for improved safety. The bike uses multi-spoke alloy wheels and tubeless tyres. A seat height of 795mm and good ground clearance make the Roadster accessible and practical for daily use. A digital instrument cluster displays essential ride information, and a USB charging port is available for device charging on the go.

To support rider preferences, Yezdi offers six factory customization kits. These allow buyers to choose features like dual-tone paint, integrated LED indicators, removable pillion seats, alternate handlebars, and touring accessories. Yezdi also offers over 200 plug-and-play accessories, all covered under warranty.

The company backs the Roadster with a standard four-year or 50,000km warranty, which can be extended to six years. One year of roadside assistance is also included. Bookings are now open through Yezdi’s dealer network, and deliveries will begin soon. Yezdi plans to grow its dealership and service network to 450 locations by Diwali 2025.

The 2025 Roadster enters the 300–350cc retro motorcycle segment as one of the most affordable options. It offers a mix of classic design, modern features, and daily usability. With segment-first features like the assist-and-slipper clutch and wide customization support, Yezdi aims to attract both new and experienced riders looking for a stylish and practical motorcycle.
