Royal Enfield June 2025 Sales Rise by 22%: Nearly 90,000 Units Sold
Royal Enfield sold 89,540 bikes in June 2025, marking 22% YoY growth; exports rise 79% and Q1 sales hit 265K units.
Royal Enfield, the well-known maker of classic motorcycles, saw its monthly sales climb to 89,540 units in June 2025. This marks a significant 22 percent increase in volume compared to the same period last year. The company's performance highlights its continued strength in the motorcycle market.
In the domestic market, Royal Enfield sold 76,957 units, which is a 16 percent rise from the previous year. This growth indicates a steady demand for their motorcycles within India. Exports also showed a sharp increase, reaching 12,583 units. This figure represents a substantial 79 percent jump compared to the 7,024 motorcycles exported in June of last year, showing growing international appeal.
For the first quarter of the current financial year (April-June), Royal Enfield's total dispatches reached 265,528 units. This is a 17 percent increase over the 226,907 motorcycles sold during the same quarter in the last fiscal year. Of these, 228,779 units were domestic sales, while exports stood at 36,749 units, up 65 percent over the same period last year.
Beyond sales figures, Royal Enfield recently kicked off the latest edition of its annual expedition, the Himalayan Odyssey. Now in its 21st year, this challenging ride covers 2,600 kilometers over 18 days. It takes 77 riders through the high-altitude terrains of Ladakh, Spiti, and Zanskar, including Umling La, often called the world's highest motorable road. Medical and logistics support teams are with the group to ensure safety.
June also saw Royal Enfield expand its clothing line. As part of its broader Green Pursuit initiative, the company launched the 'Conscious Collection.' This new sustainable clothing line uses recycled materials, Himalayan grass fiber, organic cotton, and natural dyes, reflecting a commitment to eco-friendly practices.
Royal Enfield's popular models, including the Classic 350, Bullet 350, and Meteor 350, continue to drive sales. The Meteor 350 recently received an update. The company also offers the Himalayan 450, a dual-purpose adventure tourer, and the Guerrilla 450, a neo-retro roadster, alongside its extensive range of 650cc motorcycles.
Looking ahead, the Chennai-based manufacturer is testing its Flying Flea C6 electric motorcycle and its scrambler variant, with launches expected next year. New 750cc and 650cc models are also in development, signaling Royal Enfield's plans for future expansion and innovation.
