The SUV has also been the top-selling car in the first half of 2025, from January to June. Besides June, it was also the highest-selling passenger vehicle in March and April of this year. Hyundai has shared that the Creta has been the best-selling mid-size SUV in India every year since it first came out in 2015.
In June 2025, Hyundai India sold 15,786 units of the Creta SUV within the country. Recently, the South Korean car maker also launched an all-electric version of the Creta in India. Besides the regular petrol and diesel models, the SUV is also available in a sportier N Line version, which uses a 1.5-liter Turbo GDi petrol engine. This variety in models helps the Creta reach many different buyers.
The petrol versions of the Hyundai Creta are priced between 11.11 lakh and 20.34 lakh rupees. The diesel models cost between 12.69 lakh and 20.50 lakh rupees. The Creta N Line is available from 16.93 lakh to 20.64 lakh rupees. Lastly, the electric Creta starts at 17.99 lakh rupees and goes up to 24.38 lakh rupees for the most expensive model. All these prices are what you would pay at the showroom in New Delhi.
Hyundai has already started working on a new version of the Creta SUV. This new model is expected to be shown to the public by the middle of 2027. It is known inside the company as SX3. This new Creta might be the first Hyundai car to use a hybrid engine. This would help it meet new rules about clean air, called CAFE 3 emission standards.
