Hyundai Launches VERNA SX+ Variant and Wireless Adapter for 7 Models

Hyundai India launches the new VERNA SX+ variant with premium features and a wireless adapter for Apple CarPlay/Android Auto across 7 models. Learn more!

Great news for car lovers in India! Hyundai just made its popular VERNA sedan even better and added a cool new gadget to make connecting your phone super easy.

Meet the New VERNA SX+ Trim

Hyundai has added a new choice to the VERNA family, called the SX+. If you like fancy features without a super high price tag, this might be for you. It comes with both a manual stick shift and an automatic (called iVT) option.

What makes the SX+ special? It packs some really nice stuff usually found in more expensive cars:

  • Awesome Sound: A Bose sound system with eight speakers to make your music sound amazing.

  • Comfy Seats: Seats covered in leather, and the front ones can even be cooled down or heated up – perfect for any weather!

  • Easy Parking: Sensors at the front to help you park without bumps.

  • Bright Lights: LED headlights that light up the road really well at night.

The price for the manual SX+ is around Rs 13.79 lakh, and the automatic is about Rs 15.04 lakh (these are ex-showroom prices, so the final price on the road will be a bit more).

No More Wires! Hyundai’s New wireless Feature

Hyundai also launched something really handy: a small adapter that turns your wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto into wireless! No more plugging in your phone every time you get in the car.

This little feature works with several Hyundai models:

  • Grand i10 NIOS

  • EXTER

  • VERNA (the new one and maybe older ones too – check with Hyundai!)

  • AURA

  • VENUE

  • VENUE N Line

  • ALCAZAR

Now you can easily use your phone’s maps, music, and apps on the car’s screen without needing a cable. Super convenient!

Why is Hyundai Doing This?

Tarun Garg, a top boss at Hyundai India, said they want to give people more premium features and better ways to stay connected in their cars. It seems they know people love having easy access to their phone apps while driving.

Safety and Competition

It's worth remembering the Hyundai VERNA is a safe car – it scored a top five-star rating in global safety tests (Global NCAP). It’s competing in a tough market against cars from brands like Honda, Maruti Suzuki, and Skoda, so adding these new features helps it stand out.

Hyundai has been in India since 1996 and builds its cars right here in Chennai. They keep bringing out new things to suit what Indian drivers want.

So, if you're looking for a sedan with some luxury touches or just want to ditch the phone cable in your current Hyundai, these new updates are definitely worth checking out!
