2025 Maruti Grand Vitara CNG Launched: Prices, Features, Safety, and Mileage Details

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has introduced the 2025 Grand Vitara CNG in the domestic market. This release brings new features and improves safety. Six airbags are now standard across the range. The cabin now has ventilated seats for the front row. A wireless charging pad is present. A PM 2.5 air purifying unit with a real-time display is also included. These additions aim to enhance the vehicle for buyers.

Other features include sunshades for the rear windows. A tire pressure monitoring system is part of the package. A rear camera helps with parking. The car sits on 17-inch alloy wheels. A nine-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. A Clarion-sourced speaker system provides sound. Buyers will also find auto-folding mirrors, keyless entry, rear AC vents, automatic climate control, and Suzuki Connect. These elements contribute to the vehicle's appeal.

The 2025 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara CNG Delta trim costs Rs 13.48 lakh. The Zeta trim has a price of Rs 15.62 lakh. These prices are ex-showroom figures. The car’s dimensions remain the same. The midsize SUV measures 4,345 mm in length. It is 1,795 mm wide and stands 1,645 mm tall. These measurements confirm its size.

Powering the CNG Model

The S-CNG version uses the 1.5-liter Dual Jet, Dual VVT K-series petrol engine. This engine delivers a claimed efficiency of 26.6 km per kg when running on CNG. This factory-fitted CNG variant adds to the Grand Vitara range. The range already includes mild-hybrid, strong-hybrid, and AWD-equipped powertrains. In CNG mode, the engine produces 87.8 PS at 5,500 rpm. It generates 121.5 Nm of torque at 4,200 rpm. This provides power for daily driving.

Safety Enhancements

The CNG-spec Grand Vitara’s safety equipment has seen updates. Six airbags are now standard. This joins existing technologies, including the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with Hill Hold Assist. ABS with EBD is present. Disc brakes are on both ends. ISOFIX mounts for child seats are also included. These features work to protect occupants.

It includes 6 airbags as standard. Powered by our Next-Gen K-series 1.5-litre Dual Jet Dual VVT engine, it delivers fuel efficiency. It does this without compromising its SUV drive experience. We believe the new Grand Vitara S-CNG will continue to gain customer approval with its safety and efficiency.”
