Kawasaki Versys-X 300 Launched – Price and Specifications

India Kawasaki Motors has reintroduced the Versys-X300 adventure motorcycle in inda as a 2025 model. This model is priced at Rs. 3.80 lakh (ex-showroom).

The 2025 model is priced at Rs. 3.80 lakh (ex-showroom), making it significantly more affordable than the previous version, which launched at Rs. 4.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)

The new Versys-X300 is designed to be suitable for daily users, in addition to featuring adventure features that are unique to the Kawasaki brand.

What's new in the 2020 Kawasaki Versys 300?

Externally, the new Versys-X300 is similar to the previous model to a great extent. However, the new Blue and White colour scheme has been introduced in the new 2025 version. The motorcycle will be imported to India as a completely built unit (CBU). Although it is an imported model, it is available at the lowest price compared to other bikes in the segment.

Engine, Gearbox, Other Specifications

The 2025 Versys-X 300 is powered by the same 296cc Pearl-Twin engine used in the Ninja 300.

It produces a maximum of 38.5 bhp at 11,500rpm and a peak torque of 26.1 Nm at 10,000rpm.

The engine has 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch that supports smooth gear changes.

The suspension setup includes 41mm telescopic forks at the front with 130mm of travel, and a monoshock at the rear with 180mm of travel.

Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at the front and rear, with dual-channel ABS as standard.

The motorcycle comes with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels.

Tube tires were used. A fuel tank with a capacity of 17 litres is installed in the backbone frame that supports the engine.

The motorcycle has a ground clearance of 180mm. The total weight of the bike is 184 kg.

Competition in the market

The Versys-X300 will face stiff competition in the Indian market. The KTM 390 Adventure rivals the likes of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the upcoming Versys. This bike is likely to achieve preference due to factors such as low price, reliable performance, and off-road capability.
