OPPO Raises Smartphone Prices Again In India, Hikes Reach Rs 3,000
OPPO has increased prices of several smartphones in India by up to Rs 3,000, marking its third price hike in less than a month
OPPO has announced another round of smartphone price increases in India, making it the company's third revision in less than a month. The new prices came into effect on June 22 and apply to selected variants of the A6 5G, A6 Pro 5G and F33 5G.
The company has linked the increase to rising memory component costs. Smartphone brands have been facing higher expenses in recent months as demand for memory chips continues to grow, particularly due to the rapid expansion of AI infrastructure. Under the latest revision, prices of eight smartphone variants have been increased by between Rs 2,000 and Rs 3,000.
The OPPO F33 5G (6GB + 128GB) has received the largest increase. Its price has gone up from Rs 31,999 to Rs 34,999, an increase of Rs 3,000. The A6 5G (4GB + 128GB) is another model that has become noticeably more expensive, with its price rising from Rs 21,999 to Rs 23,999.
At the other end of the list, the F33 5G (8GB + 256GB) has received the smallest increase, moving from Rs 37,999 to Rs 39,999.
This is not the first price hike from OPPO in recent weeks. On June 17, the company raised prices of all K14x 5G variants by Rs 1,000. Earlier, on May 26, prices of the Find X9 series were increased by Rs 10,000 across both variants.
The repeated revisions are beginning to worry retailers. Kailash Lakhyani, Founder Chairman of the All India Mobile Retailers Association (AIMRA), said rising component costs, chipset shortages, currency fluctuations and inflation continue to push smartphone prices higher. He believes the trend is unlikely to stop in the near future.
The price increases are arriving at a difficult time for the smartphone industry. According to Counterpoint Research, smartphone shipments in India fell 3% year-on-year during the January-March quarter of 2026. The research firm attributed the decline to weaker demand, rising costs and higher smartphone prices across the market.
With several brands already revising prices this year, buyers may continue to see smartphones becoming more expensive in the coming months.
