Oppo Find X9, X9 Pro Launches With 7,500mAh Battery and 200MP Camera

Oppo Find X9 and X9 Pro Launch: Two-Day Battery Life Finally Arrives

Oppo launched the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro globally on October 28 in Barcelona, with India launch confirmed for November 18. For the first time in years, a flagship smartphone prioritizes what users actually complain about daily - battery life that genuinely lasts two to three days between charges. The Find X9 Pro packs a 7,500mAh battery while the standard model carries 7,025mAh, ending the constant hunt for chargers that's plagued smartphones for a decade.

Battery

The silicon-carbon battery technology delivers 50% more capacity without thickness penalties. The Find X9 Pro measures just 8.25mm thick despite its massive battery - that's thinner than most flagships with half that capacity. Independent testing confirmed three full days with moderate use, and a comfortable two days with always-on display enabled. This eliminates battery anxiety completely, changing how confidently you use power-hungry features like 5G, 120Hz displays, and camera apps without constantly checking percentages.

Hasselblad Master Camera System Explained

The series debuts the Hasselblad Master Camera System powered by Oppo's in-house LUMO Image Engine. The Find X9 Pro introduces a breakthrough 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens co-developed with Hasselblad, featuring a 1/1.4-inch sensor that captures significantly more light than typical smartphone telephotos. The standard Find X9 uses a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 telephoto.

Main cameras use Sony LYT-808 (Find X9) and Sony LYT-828 (Find X9 Pro) sensors. A dedicated True Colour Camera sensor on the Find X9 ensures accurate color reproduction. The LUMO Image Engine handles computational photography with AI Portrait Glow enhancement and Stage Mode for concert recording that isolates specific audio sources even from distant seats.

Both phones support 4K video at 120fps in Dolby Vision HDR and LOG recording with ACES support for professional workflows. The optional Hasselblad Teleconverter Kit - a 3.28x telephoto lens that physically attaches - transforms the Find X9 Pro into a legitimate zoom camera replacement for wildlife photography or distant sports events.

Display and Design Options

The Find X9 features a 6.59-inch display while the Find X9 Pro steps up to 6.78 inches. Both use flat AMOLED panels with 120Hz refresh rate, 3,600 nits peak brightness, and ultra-thin 1.15mm symmetrical bezels on all sides creating genuinely edge-to-edge appearance.

Color options differ between models. The Find X9 comes in Titanium Grey, Space Black, and Velvet Red. The Find X9 Pro offers Silk White and Titanium Charcoal. Both feature matte glass finish and matte aluminum frames that improve grip compared to glossy alternatives that constantly slip from hands.

Performance and Software

MediaTek's Dimensity 9500 chipset powers both models, delivering 32% faster CPU and 33% faster GPU performance over previous generation. ColorOS 16 includes Seamless Animation technology and Luminous Rendering Engine for smooth interface transitions. Multi-device connectivity allows seamless linking with PCs, Macs, and accessories.

India Launch and Pricing

India launch is confirmed for November 18 with official pricing announcement expected that week. Oppo's Indian website already displays the Find X9 series teaser with early access registration open. Global pricing shows the Find X9 Pro at €1,399 (approximately Rs 1,25,000) and Find X9 at €999 (approximately Rs 90,000). Industry estimates suggest India pricing around Rs 99,999 for the Pro and Rs 64,999 for the standard model, considering local taxes and positioning against Samsung Galaxy S25 and iPhone 17 series.

Who Benefits Most

If you charge nightly without worry, the Find X9 series solves problems you don't have. But for business travelers crossing time zones, heavy users tired of battery anxiety, or photography enthusiasts needing genuine zoom capability, this represents the first meaningful battery breakthrough in flagship smartphones since wireless charging arrived. The massive batteries alone justify consideration over established alternatives that force daily charging compromises.
