TVS Launches NTORQ 125 Super Soldier Edition Inspired by Captain America

TVS Motor Company has launched a new special edition of its popular NTORQ 125 scooter. Named the Super Soldier Edition, this version draws inspiration from Marvel’s Captain America and is part of TVS’s Super Squad series. The new model is priced at Rs 98,117 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is now available at TVS dealerships across India.

Captain America-Inspired Design

The Super Soldier Edition features a camouflage-themed design with red and blue accents that reflect the personality of Captain America. TVS has used custom decals and graphics to give the scooter a bold and sporty look. This design aims to attract younger buyers, especially Gen Z riders who are fans of Marvel superheroes.

This new variant continues TVS’s partnership with Marvel that began in 2020. The Super Squad line-up already includes models based on Iron Man, Black Panther, and Spider-Man. The latest edition brings a fresh visual update without changing the mechanical setup of the scooter.

Powering the Super Soldier Edition is a 124.8cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. It produces 9.39 bhp at 7,000 rpm and 10.6 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm, paired with an automatic CVT transmission. The scooter accelerates from 0–60 km/h in 8.9 seconds, making it one of the sportier scooters in its segment.

Braking duties are handled by a 220mm front disc brake and a 130mm rear drum brake, supported by a Combined Braking System (CBS) for better control.

The NTORQ 125 rides on 12-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. It uses 100/80-12 tubeless tyres at the front and 110/80-12 at the rear, providing good grip and stability. The suspension system includes telescopic forks at the front and a gas-charged monoshock at the rear, ensuring a smooth ride across different road conditions.

The scooter offers a ground clearance of 155 mm and a seat height of 770 mm, making it accessible for most riders. It has a fuel tank capacity of 5.8 liters and a kerb weight of 118 kg.
