Introduction:
The first electric SUV, the "YU7," has been officially announced by the massive cell phone maker Xiaomi. The YU7, which is packed with cutting-edge features and a powerful Hyper Engine V6s Plus, has a top speed of 253 km/h, an amazing range of up to 835 km on a single charge, and more. Xiaomi's entry into the EV market represents a daring new direction for the company, as it is built on the Modena platform with advanced safety technology and fast charging.
Xiaomi YU7 Power, Specifications:
The Xiaomi YU7 is powered by a Hyper Engine V6s Plus. It produces a maximum power of 690 PS and a peak torque of 528 Nm, reaching up to 22,000 rpm.
The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.23 seconds. This EV has a top speed of 253 km/h. It features a segmented magnetic steel technology motor. The CLTC driving range is up to 4 km.
Xiaomi YU7 Safety Features:
This EV is built on the Modena platform. The body features a steel-aluminum hybrid design, incorporating ultra-high-strength steel rated at 2200 MPa. This steel was developed through over 24 million AI simulations and 4,000 tests.
It includes a 659 mm front crumple zone, a 1500 MPa underbody crossbeam, and a bulletproof battery layer 10 times stronger than PVC.
Exterior Design:
The YU7 has passed more than 50 C-NCAP and C-IASI crash tests. Most rear-end collisions tested were at speeds of 90 km/h.
In terms of dimensions, the Xiaomi YU7 measures 4,999 mm in length, 1,996 mm in width, 1,600 mm in height, and has a 3,000 mm wheelbase. The design ratios include 3:1 wheel to body, 2.1:1 wheel to height, and 1.25:1 width to height.
Xiaomi YU7 Battery Range:
The Xiaomi YU7 SUV is available in three variants. The base model comes with a 96.3 kWh battery, delivering a CLTC range of 835 km. The Pro model also features a 96.3 kWh battery and offers a range of 760 km with four-wheel drive. The Max model comes with a 101.7 kWh battery, providing a range of 770 km with four-wheel drive.
The charging system uses an 800V silicon carbide platform (897V peak) and supports a 5.2C charging speed. This EV can charge from 10% to 80% in just 12 minutes, and can achieve a range of 620 km in under 15
